User Generated Content Terms of Use

By responding to our request with #YesEasyClosets, or by granting EasyClosets permission to use specific content (i.e. testimonials, videos, photos), you agree to the following Terms of Use:

You hereby grant EasyClosets and its affiliates (individually and collectively, “EasyClosets”) a limited, perpetual, world-wide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and publicly display for any purposes whatsoever, your comment(s), photographs, and videos shared directly or tagged with the hashtag #YesEasyClosets. 

You hereby release, discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless EasyClosets and its officers, directors, and employees, from all actions, claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of EasyClosets’ use of your User Content.

We may refuse to accept or transmit User Content for any reason. We may remove User Content from the Sites for any reason. 

Your agreement to these Terms of Use is still binding should you delete your #YesEasyClosets approval post or your user content. 

You hereby represent and warrant that:

• You exclusively own all right, title and interest in and to your User Content and have all necessary rights and authority to grant EasyClosets the license granted herein;
• your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party’s intellectual property rights or rights of publicity or privacy, or violate any applicable law or regulation; and
• EasyClosets’ use of your User Content will not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or violate any applicable law or regulation.

By permitting EasyClosets to use your User Content, you consent to EasyClosets processing any personal data contained within it as well as your social media handle. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting EasyClosets via direct message at @EasyClosets on the following Social Media Platforms: Instagram or Facebook. Please visit the Privacy Policy to understand more about how EasyClosets will process your personal information.

All matters regarding these Terms of Use, including, without limitation, the validity, enforceability, or interpretation of this Agreement, shall be exclusively governed by the substantive laws of the State of Michigan. All claims or actions related to this Agreement shall be litigated exclusively in the Circuit Court of the State of Michigan located in Kent County, Michigan or, if applicable, the Federal District Court for the Western District of Michigan located in Kent County, Michigan. The parties waive all objections to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and all objections to such venue.
