Anna of Ask Anna was fed up with her daughter Malea’s closet; the hanging space was too tall for her daughter to reach and there was zero functional toy storage.

Anna wanted Malea’s new closet to be as kid-friendly as possible, so she designed every element with her daughter’s ability to access it in mind to make the ultimate kid’s closet.

Here’s Malea’s closet before they installed the EasyClosets system:

And here it is after:

Anna included tons of features to suit her daughter’s needs:

“One of the big problems with the old closet was that there wasn’t anywhere to put her toys, Anna said. “I had them in baskets on the ground but they were hard to get to with the overlapping closet doors. By removing the doors, and adding the center set of drawers, now we have tons of toy storage that is easy for her to get to.”

“I added a hamper which is currently the perfect amount of space for all her stuffed animals! Some day when she’s older and won’t have a bunch of stuffed animals she can use it as a clothes hamper, but for now it’s the perfect storage solution for her fuzzy friends.”

“I designed it with 3 separate hanging areas that are all moveable so as she gets taller, and her clothes get longer, we can adjust them accordingly.  Having her shirts and skirts on a lower bar has made her picking out her clothes SO much easier! Now she doesn’t have to call me every time she needs something.”

Both Anna and Malea are thrilled with the end result. “Now that the closet is installed I keep asking myself why I didn’t do this over a year ago! Especially because it was SO easy!”
