This avid seamstress created a perfect workroom for her sewing hobby using our custom garage design tool. Our versatile garage systems are offered in white as shown here, as well as black, red and grey. The metallic accents, chrome handles and aluminum garage legs used with all finishes look great inside the home or the garage! The design pictured includes a 72 inch wide and 19 inch deep workbench with upper cabinets and shelving and a full custom cabinet that filled the space perfectly and provided a spacious work surface for mending projects.

Open Drawer
Our sturdy garage drawers with standard full extension glides make finding necessary sewing implements or tools easy. Garage workbench base sections are 24 inches wide, available in two heights and two depths and are offered in various combinations of drawers and cabinets. Heavy duty drawers use ¾ inch sides that are doweled and glued together with a ¼ inch masonite base and come in three sizes. The 8 inch drawer is pictured here.

Open Full Cabinet
Supplies, various hobby books or magazines and sewing projects can be hidden neatly away when stored inside the spacious full garage cabinet that is 19 inches deep. The homeowner used the custom width option in our garage design tool for full cabinets to attain the perfect fit! Our garage legs make keeping this hobby space easy and are available in 6 or 12 inch heights. The 6 inch legs used here were cut down 3 inches to achieve a counter height for the workbench.

Upper Cabinets and Shelving
The upper cabinets and open shelving included with the 72 inch wide workbench add storage above the spacious work surface. Workbench wall hung upper cabinets and shelving come in two heights and are 14 inches deep.
